Social Responsibility

Taking power over your supply chain means important partnerships and a strong Code of Conduct.

amfori Business Compliance Initiative

We are a part of the international supply chain system amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI). The BSCI works with 11 principles regarding human rights, working rights, protection of the environment, and ethical business relationships.

The amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a supply chain management system that helps companies assess and improve the social and labor conditions in their factories worldwide. The BSCI provides a set of standards and a code of conduct for suppliers to follow and conducts regular audits to ensure compliance. BSCI aims to promote fair labor practices and improve working conditions in the global supply chain.

As active members of amfori’s BSCI, we can stay transparent and reliable in sourcing our customers’ products. By being a member, we also ensure work for local people and ensure our customers don’t participate in child labor, unethical working hours, or other unethical social working conditions when they source with us.

Supplier Code of Conduct

What is a Code of Conduct?

A code of conduct is a set of guidelines or rules that outline the expected behavior of individuals or organizations. It is intended to promote ethical and responsible behavior and may cover areas such as integrity, respect, fairness, and responsibility. Codes of conduct are commonly used in business, professional, and community settings and may be legally binding or simply a statement of values and principles.

For Dymak, having a supplier code of conduct is of the utmost importance as we deal with hundreds of suppliers all over the globe. Ensuring our customers are safe throughout the sourcing process is our crucial effort. The CoC aims to ensure that all our suppliers work under the same regulations, which are, in our eyes, the bare minimum.

Modern Slavery Statement

We comply with all rules and have a zero-tolerance policy regarding social responsibility. We believe that all humans should be treated with respect and accepted for who they are and deny any business that may be operating with modern slavery, human trafficking, corruption, etc. Internally we operate a robust recruitment policy, including conducting eligibility to work with customers within the UK.

We regularly conduct training for our buying teams to ensure they realize the signs of modern slavery and what to do when they suspect it is taking place.
